About Joel

I serve all buyers and sellers of residential real estate throughout the Twin Cities and Greater Minnesota.  As a Seniors Real Estate Specialist® and Resort and Second-Home Property Specialist, I have the additional background to serve clients 50+ as well as those interested in buying or selling a second home.

More About My Experience and Education

I hold a Bachelor of Science degree from North Park University in Chicago, IL and completed my real estate licensing coursework through the Kaplan Professional School of Real Estate.  I have also earned the designations of Seniors Real Estate Specialist^® and Resort and Second-Home Property Specialist through the National Association of Realtors.

Prior to my Real Estate career, I had the opportunity to spend 20 years working in Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Sales and Marketing as well as the management of a Home Care Agency serving senior citizens. My passion has always been helping others. Today, I put my extensive experience in sales and contract negotiation to work guiding clients in both the sale and purchase of their homes.

I currently serve on the board of the Minneapolis Area Senior Workers Association (MASWA), a community organization working to assist seniors in maintaining health and independence and dedicated to improving the quality of life for all seniors.  I also serve on the Development Committee at Hammer, an organization that provides care and housing for Minnesota adults and children with developmental disabilities.

Born and raised in the Twin Cities, I grew up in Golden Valley and attended Minnehaha Academy in South Minneapolis. Today, my wife and I are raising our two children in the West Metro and have called Plymouth home for the past sixteen years. I love the great State of Minnesota and serving the people who live here.
